SDI-12 Quantum Light Pollution Sensor
The SQ-640 Quantum Light Pollution sensor is a self-powered device designed for durability. It features a robust aluminum housing that is fully submersible and built to endure harsh conditions, along with a high-quality cable. The sensor cable is equipped with an IP68 marine-grade stainless-steel connector, facilitating straightforward removal and replacement for maintenance and calibration of permanent installations. Typical applications for Quantum Light Pollution sensors include measuring incoming PFD over plant canopies in indoor greenhouses or growth chambers, as well as reflected or under-canopy (transmitted) PFD measurements in those settings. Given that this Quantum Light Pollution sensor's detector is sensitive to radiation wavelengths up to 1100 nm, which exceed the range that affects plants, we recommend using the SQ-640 sensors solely in indoor growing environments with LED lights.

SDI-12 Quantum Sensor
The SDI-12 Quantum Sensor is calibrated for sunlight and includes a command that automatically applies the immersion effect correction factor for underwater measurements. This sensor features a robust, self-cleaning housing and a high-quality cable. Typical applications encompass measuring PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density) above plant canopies in outdoor settings, greenhouses, and growth chambers, as well as capturing reflected or transmitted PPFD in those environments. Additionally, quantum sensors are employed to assess PAR (Photosynthetically Active Radiation)/PPFD in aquatic environments, such as saltwater aquariums where corals thrive.

SDI-12 Full-spectrum quantum sensor
The SQ-521 is a digital sensor with SDI-12 communication protocol. The sensor incorporates a rugged, self-cleaning sensor housing design, anodized aluminum body with acrylic diffuser, and high-quality cable terminating in pre-tinned pigtail leads for easy connection to dataloggers and controllers. Typical applications include PPFD measurement over plant canopies in outdoor environments, greenhouses, and growth chambers, and reflected or under-canopy (transmitted) PPFD measurements in the same environments. Quantum sensors are also used to measure PAR/PPFD in aquatic environments, including salt water aquariums where corals are grown.
