Privacty Policy in Accordance with the EU (25 May 2018)

The following Privacy Policy aims to inform you about how EVVOS S.A ( ‘’we’’ , ‘’us’’, ‘’EVVOS’’ or ‘’Company’’ ) uses the data you give us through our site(s),including but not limited to evvos.com, for which we comply with the strict requirements of the Luxembourgish Data Protection Act and the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

By providing personal information you are deemed to consent to your personal information being shared outside evvos.com in the following circumstances:

  • where EVVOS needs to share your information to provide the service you have requested;
  • where EVVOS needs to send the information to third parties who work on behalf of EVVOS to provide a service to you. We will only provide the information they need to deliver the service, and they are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose;
  • where EVVOS wants to keep you up to date on the latest service announcements, updates or other EVVOS information;
  • where you have given us permission to share your information with third parties;

EVVOS will also disclose your personal information if required to do so by law in urgent circumstances, to protect personal safety, the public or our website.

Your Data

When you sign up for the site(s), you provide us with data directly or through the use of an external authentication, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Microsoft or Google, that may include your name, email, password, entities or companies you are associated with and any other data provided by your chosen setting, or authorized to be provided, by you. We only access information from external authentication about you that is provided as basic information or is on your public profile on Facebook/LinkedIn/Microsoft/Google as per your chosen privacy settings on those services. We will explicitly tell you when we do this during the process of creating a new account on our sites. Our current registration page is at http://portal.evvos.com and additional pages throughout the Site.

You can provide additional data, change and/or the data you provided when you registered, as available on evvos.com.

We retain the data, in accordance with this policy, from all of your activities on the site(s) that includes your Content, such as making a customer service request and any other means of generating content on the site(s).

We may access your data as follows: to provide you with information about services and other items that be of interest, provided that such use is consistent with this policy.

  • to notify you of changes in the services we provide;
  • to administer your account with us to allow you to use the site(s);
  • to provide you with promotional material, but only in accordance with the terms;
  • to use your data to customize the services we provide to you;
  • to enable us to provide you with advertisements;

Other users of the site(s) may access your data if they have the rights to do so.

Your data will be available to us and to anyone you send it to for all non-public communication. We may store data as required when you have authorized us to enable log-in using external authentication and access a third-party.

Any use that another user of the site(s) makes of your data is beyond our control. Any data you provide to us and the site(s) must comply with the terms.

In the event that evvos.com is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or bankruptcy your information may be sold or transferred as part of that transaction. The promises in the privacy policy will apply to your information as transferred to the new entity.

Your Rights

For your own security, we reserve the right to acquire further information needed to confirm your identity when responding to an existing enquiry. If identification is not possible, we also reserve the right to refuse to respond to your enquiry.

a) Right to information

You have the right to demand information from us on the personal data stored about you.

b) Right to rectification

You have the right to demand immediate rectification and/or completion of the personal data stored about you.

c) Right to restrict processing

You have the right to demand that processing of your personal data be restricted if you dispute the accuracy of the data stored about you, if processing is unlawful and we no longer require the data, but you do not wish the data to be deleted and require it to assert, exercise or defend legal entitlements, or if you have disclosed your objection to its processing.

d) Right to erasure

You have the right to demand erasure of your personal data stored by us, unless the retention of the data is necessary for freedom of expression, for freedom of information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons in the public interest, for asserting or defending against legal claims or for exercising legal rights.

e) Right to data portability

You have the right to have a copy of the data that you have provided us with sent to you or a third party. If you demand that the data be sent directly to another data controller, this will only be done if it is technically feasible.

f) Right to object

If your personal data is being processed on the basis of legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6, para. 1, letter f of the GDPR, you have the right to object to processing at any time in accordance with Art. 21 of the GDPR.

g) Right to submit a complaint to a regulatory authority

If the processing of your personal data violates data protection legislation or if your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you may submit a complaint to the regulatory authority.

h) Right to withdraw consent

You have the right to withdraw your consent for the collection of data at any time with future effect. The data collected until the withdrawal takes legal effect remains unaffected by this. We hope that you understand that it may take some time to process your withdrawal for technical reasons and that you may continue to receive messages from us during this time.

EVVOS Off-Site Distribution

EVVOS users: EVVOS provides mechanisms using APIs, widgets, feeds and similar methods to provide external entities access to information on EVVOS sites (“EVVOS Developers”). All users of such mechanisms must agree that their use of such will not violate this Privacy Policy or the Terms and Conditions.

EVVOS users of EVVOS Developers: You agree to not make any persistent local copy of any EVVOS information for longer than twelve hours, to maintain any API key or other authentication provided to you as confidential, to identify data as originating from EVVOS and to not use EVVOS data in any way detrimental to EVVOS users, in our sole opinion. If we ask, you will immediately erase all EVVOS information you receive through use of EVVOS Developer mechanisms.

Deactivating Your Account

You may deactivate your account at any time by sending an email to support at support@evvos.com.) After you deactivate your account, we may retain information that we are required to keep and any information that has been shared on the site(s) for five years. Additionally, any data you have submitted or shared with a third party, will not be deleted by us. Any data or information we retain about you will be deleted if the authorisation for processing expires.

When you deactivate an account, it is permanently deleted from EVVOS. It takes us up to six months to deactivate an account, but some information may remain in backup copies and logs for up to twelve months. You should only deactivate your account if you are sure you never want to reactivate it.

Information we Might Collect when You Use the Site(s)

Statistical information, which does not reveal your personal or organizational identity such as:

  • Details of visits to our site(s) and items accessed;
  • Information such as your browser type, phone type, location, and/or IP address;

We use cookies and similar means as follows to deliver a more personalized service through mean like storing your preferences, helping you find things more quickly, to serve advertisements (if we choose to do so in the future), to let you log-in more quickly, so when you visit our site(s) we recognize you as an existing user, and to identify particular visits to the site(s). You may refuse to accept these cookies by changing your browser setting to refuse cookies. By refusing cookies you may be unable to use all or some of our site(s). We may preserve or disclose your information if we believe that it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation or legal request; to protect the safety of any person; to address fraud, security or technical issues; or to protect EVVOS’ rights or property.

Contacting You

We may contact you by email, SMS, phone and other ways only if you give us the information required to do so and do not indicate that you do not wish to be contacted in these ways. You may indicate that you do not wish to be contacted by e-mail. You can tell us at any time that you do not wish to be contacted by any other means by emailing support AT evvos.com.

Amendments to the Privacty Policy

To ensure that our Privacy Policy is compliant with current statutory requirements at all times, we reserve the right to make amendments at any time. This also applies where the Privacy Policy needs to be amended to accommodate new or revised products or services. The up to date privacy policy will always be shown on this page.
