Creating Relay Message Headers

Relay message headers allow you to customize how data is transmitted to your target URL. Follow the steps below to create and manage these headers within our application.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Navigate to Relay Configurations
    • From the main menu on the left side, select "Relay Configurations".
  2. Select the Relay for Header Management
    • Locate and click on the relay for which you want to manage headers. This will take you to the relay’s configuration page.
  3. Go to Manage Headers
    • Within the relay configuration page, click on the "Manage Headers" tab. This section allows you to create and edit headers.
  4. Create a New Header
    • In the "Create Header" section, you will see two fields:
      • Name: Enter the name of the header. This should be descriptive and relevant to the data being relayed.
      • Value: Enter the value for the header. This could be a token, key, or any other piece of data required for your integration.
  5. Save the Header
    • After entering the name and value, click the "Create Header" button. This will add the header to your relay configuration.
  6. Review and Edit Headers
    • Once added, the header will appear in the list below. You can edit or delete existing headers using the corresponding icons if changes are needed.

Best Practices

  • Descriptive Names: Use clear and descriptive names for headers to make management easier.
  • Keep Secure: Ensure sensitive information in headers, such as tokens or keys, is entered and managed securely.
  • Regular Updates: Regularly review headers to ensure they reflect current integration and security needs.
